September 1997, the objective of the Gret’s internal seminar was to discuss on partnership practices with intermediary organisations, focusing on six development projects (Cambodia, Cameroon, the Comoro islands, Haiti and Mauritania). This document summarises the main elements of this seminar. It attempts to clarify the concept of intermediary organisations, to discuss on their very role in development programmes.
