Our   objectives Groupe initiatives' objectives lie in the following areas: creating and implementing ideas and methods based on innovation.lessons-learned. This initiative is conducted via studies, project development, programs, training, monitoring and assessment; negotiating, in the framework of the dialogue between NGOs and the government authorities, contractual relations and new methods of funding which take into account our technical and methodological features; developing concerted programs combining thematic and operational know-how of the five partners; implementing joint programs under a "Groupe initiatives" label. writing to share experiences and know-how :   writing workshops Many relevant development projects lead by African, Asian or South-American practitioners have not been analysed or exclusively been described by « experts » from developed countries. Groupe initiatives and Cepia (Centre of political and institutional consultancy in Africa) are initiating, for that reason, a workshop allowing practitioners to analyse their own experiences through collective learning. what kind of experiences? The objective of this workshop is to analyse local development or decentralization support projects which noteworthy question institutional issues. Writing…a collective way to learn and to publish The goal of this workshop is to provide African experts views on local development, nourished by collective thinking. Each contribution will be discussed between the author, the moderators and the other participants in order to deeply analyse the issues of the experiences. These papers will be published in the Traverses series.
